The Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association (a 501 (c) 6 trade association) and the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Foundation (a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization) are led by a volunteer board of directors, including two representatives from each of our six-state service area serving two-year terms, liaisons from our partner organizations appointed by each group, foundation trustees chosen by the board and an executive committee elected by the board. Each member of the executive committee serves on a four-year cycle, starting as vice president, moving up to president-elect, president and finally serves jointly as past president of the Association and president of the Foundation. Professional journalists and educators from throughout the region are eligible to serve. Terms begin each spring at the annual convention.
