The Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association and Foundation are a professional trade association and charitable foundation of television, radio and digital journalists in a six-state region in the Midwest, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska. We produce the annual Midwest Journalism Conference in the Twin Cities, present the Eric Sevareid Awards to honor the region’s best electronic journalism, and we offer scholarships and training grants for prospective and working journalists to advance their education.

We are a nonprofit organization, operating entirely on revenue generated by our annual conference, our awards programs and donations from people like you.
